Union Confederations call for protest in Seiyun

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 14 (YPA) – Union Confederations called for a protest on Thursday next week in Seiyun, the center of the Hadramout province.

In a statement, the confederations confirmed that the protest is set to denounce the deteriorating living conditions of workers, employees, and retirees, and the worsening of their suffering due to low salaries, wages, and pensions.

It urged all workers, employees, retirees, and union members to actively participate in the protest to express their rejection of the current situation and demand their legitimate rights.

The Teachers’ Union called for improvements in living conditions, salary and wage increases, and the provision of a minimum standard for a dignified life.
