ADEN, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Two girls were subjected to an attempted kidnapping by three individuals in the center of Aden province, southern Yemen, which is under the control of Saudi-led coalition.
Local sources reported that three people, believed to be affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions, tried to kidnap the girls using a small bus. The individuals, aged between 20 and 25, were dressed in military uniforms.
According to the sources, the girls jumped out of the bus into the street once they realized they had fallen into a kidnapping trap.
The locals quickly apprehended the suspects and handed them over to the relevant authorities.
The attempted kidnapping of the women has drawn widespread condemnation and sparked outrage, highlighting the deterioration of the security situation in Aden.
