Israeli Newspaper: downing of US F-18 aircraft reveals a significant challenge posed by the Houthis in Yemen

WORLD, Dec. 25 (YPA) – A Hebrew newspaper considered on Tuesday that the incident of downing US F-18 aircraft reveals the significant challenge posed by the Houthis in Yemen, not only to Israel but also to the United States.

The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth indicated that it believes the “coalition’s ability—led by the United States—to deter the Houthis is now in doubt, after the group showed resilience in the face of airstrikes.”

The Sanaa forces had announced that they carried out a large-scale attack against the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman earlier this week, which resulted in the crash of an American plane due to fire from the US military itself.
