Hundreds of Palestinian Authority security personnel detained for refusing to arrest resistance fighters
JENIN, Dec. 23 (YPA) – The Jenin Brigade said in a statement on Monday that 237 Palestinian Authority security members have been detained for refusing to participate in a security campaign targeting resistance fighters in Jenin.
The brigade emphasized that the Palestinian Authority security forces’ statements align with the narrative of the Israeli occupation, asserting that the campaign serves only the enemy’s interests.
The brigade warned Authority’s security personnel not to test their patience and commended the detained security personnel’s bravery and refusal to comply with orders to arrest resistance fighters.
The brigade warned the Authority’s security forces against continuing the campaign and vowed to defend itself against any aggression.
The Palestinian security forces have launched a broad security campaign in Jenin, resulting in the arrest of dozens of resistance fighters, despite widespread condemnation from Palestinian factions.
