Israeli occupation demolishes six houses in Al-Quds

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Dec. 16 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday demolished six houses in the town of Anata, northeast of occupied  Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

According to Palestinian sources, the occupation bulldozers demolished four houses owned by Al-Dhifain family, and two other houses belonging to Abu Ghalia family.

They added that the six houses are located in a Bedouin community that includes eight houses for a number of families who have lived there for more than 10 years.

According to the latest report from the Jerusalem Governorate, the occupation authorities have carried out 320 demolitions, including more than 87 in the town of Silwan since October 7, 2023.

The report also stated that over 30,000 properties in East Jerusalem are at risk of demolition, which will lead to the displacement and economic losses affecting the lives of around 100,000 Palestinians.
