BEIRUT, Dec. 14 (YPA) – An Israeli airstrike targeted, on Saturday, a car in the Khardali area in southern Lebanon, killing one person, according to initial information.
This escalation comes in the context of a series of ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanese border areas.
In another field development, the Israeli occupation army continues its bombing and detonation operations in the town of Kfarkela, south of Lebanon, which increases tension in the region.
An Israeli drone also targeted the town of Khiyam earlier in the week, killing one person.
For his part, the caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, commented on these violations, calling on the countries sponsoring the ceasefire in Lebanon to take a clear position towards the repeated Israeli violations, which constitute a violation of the United Nations resolutions and Lebanon’s sovereignty.
