Turkish airstrikes target Syrian army, SDF positions in Qamishli

DAMASCUS, Dec. 12 (YPA) -Turkish drones carried out 3 airstrikes targeting a former Syrian army military site, “Fouj Turtab,” south of Qamishli.

On the other hand, Syria TV reported that Turkish aircraft launched airstrikes targeting positions of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) near Qamishli Airport.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported that Turkish drone strikes in northern and northeastern Syria have reached 203 since the start of 2024.

The Observatory explained that these Turkish airstrikes in the region led to the death of 102 people, while over 53 military personnel and 79 civilians were wounded, including 6 women and 5 children.
