Gaza Health Director: Bodies of martyrs are in streets and are being devoured by dogs

GAZA, Dec. 11 (YPA) – A government official in Gaza’s health sector said, on Wednesday, that the bodies of civilian martyrs, especially in the northern Gaza Strip, are lying in the streets and being devoured by dogs.

The Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Munir Al-Barash, confirmed in a press statement that all medical and civil defense teams are unable to reach them and rescue them due to the Zionist enemy’s threat to kill anyone who reaches them.

He pointed out that the ongoing aggression on the northern Gaza Strip during the past 60 days has left more than 4,000 martyrs and missing persons, according to what has been counted so far, and the number is likely to increase.

The Director General of Gaza Health confirmed that the enemy refuses to allow the entry of medicine and medical supplies, stressing the need for international action and international organizations to compel the enemy not to target medical teams and humanitarian corridors, and to ensure their protection in accordance with international humanitarian charters and laws.
