Zero temperatures recorded in Yemen

SANAA, Dec. 10 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expected on Tuesday very cold weather and frost in a number of provinces of Yemen.

In its weather bulletin, the center stated that a very cold wave would sweep the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb, Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan and Jawf, with the possibility of frost forming in some areas.

The weather is likely to be cold in parts of western and southern Marib and the highlands of Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Taiz, Hadramout and Shabwa.

The center warned citizens of very cold weather during the night and early morning hours, especially the elderly, children and the patients.

It called on farmers, herders, beekeepers and poultry farmers to take precautions against the effects of the very cold weather and take the necessary measures to protect crops and shelter livestock in healthy and warm places.
