DAMASCUS, Dec. 10 (YPA) – Activists loyal to Turkish-backed armed factions posted video footage showing the abduction of a group of women working in the women’s police force from a security center in the city of Manbij, northeast Syria.
For the fourth consecutive day, Turkish-backed armed factions have been launching attacks on areas controlled by Kurdish forces, including the city of Manbij, which was liberated by the People’s Defense Units (YPG) also known as [ People’s Protection Units] from the ISIS terrorist group.
The footage of women, seemingly civil police officers in Manbij under the self-administration’s control, being captured by fighters from the Turkish-backed factions, brings to mind the brutal acts committed by the ISIS terrorist group, which inflicted horrific violence, especially against Syrians and Kurds.
