Meteorology warns of cold to very cold weather in several governorates

SANAA, Nov. 29 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning, expected scattered rains, with cold to very cold weather in a number of Yemeni governorates during the next 24 hours

In its daily weather bulletin, the center said that scattered rains are expected in parts of the governorates of Hajja, Mahweet, Hodeida, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, and western Saada.

“Cold to very cold conditions are expected in the governorates of Al-Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran, and Saada,” the center said.

The center issued a warning to citizens to avoid valleys and flood paths during and after rainfall and thunderstorms and to vehicle drivers about low horizontal visibility on roads and western mountain slopes.

The National Center for Meteorology  warned against exposure to cold weather in the mountainous areas, urging citizens to take necessary precautions, especially for children, school students, the elderly, and workers during the night and early morning hours.
