Army kills 352 Saudi-backed militiamen on February-June term : Report
SANAA, July 21 (SABA) – During the period from February to June 2018, the Yemeni army killed 352 Saudi-backed militiamen and destroyed 42 military vehicles belonging to them in Serwah field-battles of Marib province, according to a military media report obtained by Yemen Press Agency.
The militiamen were killed in sniping operation by army snipers units in various area of Serwah .
216 military operations during the same period were launched by the army against the militiamen, lifting heavy material and humanitarian losses among their ranks.
42 military vehicles of the militiamen were destroyed, four tanks, 21 military pick-ups loaded with the militiamen , killing mostly theirs crews’ members and two military armored loaded with the militiamen were burened by the fighters of the army.
The army launched 20 attacksg on the gathering of \militiamen, causing heavy losses among the militiamen.
It destroyed five artilleries and targted the Solar systems of the operation cabinet belonging to the Saudi-led coalition forces in Kawfal area.
During 24 attack, the army imposed full control on Tabat Al-Matar, Tabat Al-Hamra, Oum Siad, Sod hills and several sites in the eastern areas of Tabat Al-Matar.
40 Saudi-backed militiamen were killed and 70 others injured during the attacks .
The army enthralled dozens of the militiamen and captured large quantities of munitions and weapons.
The army repelled 11 infiltration inflicting the militiamen heavy losses.
The staff of the so-called 81 brigades belonging the the militiamen was mostly killed and injured during the failed infiltration.
