German police continue to arrest dozens of pro-protesters

BERLIN, Nov. 17 (YPA) – German police forces have continued to arrest several people participating in a solidarity rally with Palestine in the capital, Berlin.

Hundreds of people gathered near the Wilmersdorfer Str subway station to denounce the Israeli aggression on Gaza and Lebanon, according to a media source.

The participants in the rally carrying the flags of Palestine and Lebanon, and banners with phrases condemning the genocidal war that Israeli occupation’s committing against the Palestinian people.

During the rally, a number of supporters of the entity gathered and tried to provoke the participants in the rally by raising the Israeli flag, but the police intervened and prevented the outbreak of clashes.

The police forces in the area took strict measures and then decided to end the march on the pretext of non-compliance with the rules, arresting a large number of demonstrators.
