Al-Qaeda Militia Kill 2 Soldiers Of Shabwanian Elite, Wound 3 Others In Shabwah

SHABWAH, July 20 (YPA) – The militiamen of Qaeda killed on Friday two soldiers of Shabwanian elite forces and wounded three others in armored clashes in Shabwah province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

Violent clashes were erupted among Shabwanian elite forces and al-Qaeda militiamen, using various weapons in Mathiab valley, sources added.

The sources emphasized that Shabwanian elite forces started to launch an offensive on Mathiab valley in order to clear it from Qaeda militants, while several of the parties ranks were killed and wounded.

Clashes among that factions that supported by UAE and Qaeda militias were erupted in last February and they return intermittently.
