Hezbollah’s Secretary-General: Only the battlefield will stop the aggression

BEIRUT, Nov. 06 (YPA)- The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naeem Qassem, emphasized that he resistance in Hezbollah is a firm foundation in terms of numbers, strength, specialization, courage, and defiance against formidable enemies.

This comes in his speech today on the 40th day after the martyrdom of the great leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah

“Sayyed Nasrallah is alive among us, both in life and in his martyrdom, and he will remain with us as we remain with him. The resistance will endure and grow,” Sheikh Naeem Qassem said.

He added, “The martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah built a party that unites all segments of society, a party for the young and old, the free and the honorable, the intellectuals, and the workers.

He established a party that resists the enemy and works to build the nation through its institutions within the internal political landscape”.

“Hezbollah is structured and spans all fields—cultural, political, jihadist, educational, and healthcare—this is the party that Sayyed Nasrallah built.”

Sheikh Qassem described Hezbollah as “a structure that has extension in all cultural, political, Jihadi, social, educational and health fields.”

“Sayyed Nasrallah has revived us, both in his life and martyrdom. He will remain with us, he will continue and the resistance with grow and thrive.”

In this context, he said that Lebanon is facing a hostile war that has started more than 40 days ago, as he hailed the fronts in support of Gaza in Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon as well as the Islamic Republic of Iran.

“Despite more than 43,000 martyrs and 100,000 injuries Gaza stands firm, steady and will triumph.”

Netanyahu Refuses to Set an End Date for war

“Netanyahu refuses to set an end date for the war, as he pursues a plan extending beyond Gaza, Palestine, and Lebanon, aiming to reshape the Middle East,” he said .

“His goals in his aggression against Lebanon include three steps: first, to end Hezbollah’s presence, second, to occupy Lebanon even from afar. The third goal is to alter the map of the Middle East.”

He continued: “Netanyahu does not understand that he faces a resistance rooted in strong faith, with martyrdom-seeking fighters who do not fear death. Key factors of the resistance include weapons, capabilities, and training

The occupation also relies on its ground “army,” which is ineffective as it fears close combat and faces a resolute resistance along the borders,”

Only the Field Itself Can Halt the Aggression

“The battlefield only can end the war, rather than political action,” he said, adding that the Israeli home front will also do so, referring to the confrontations at the southern Lebanese border as well as rocket attacks and drone strikes that target the Israeli depth.

“The Israeli enemy “will scream as all regions across the Zionist entity are within the reach of our rockets and drones.”

“We have tens of thousands of trained fighters capable of confrontation and endurance, with the necessary resources for an extended period,” he said.

Netanyahu Will Be Defeated

Sheikh Naeem Qassem confirmed that “Netanyahu cannot win, and he will be defeated.”

“The Zionist entity will suffer from the rockets and drones; no place in the entity is off-limits, and what is coming will be even greater. We will force the enemy to seek an end to its aggression on its own, focusing on the battlefield rather than political maneuvering,” he added.

The Secretary-General stated that the resistance will make the enemy itself seek to stop the Israeli aggression, affirming that “we build on the battlefield, not on political movements.”

He stressed, meanwhile, that the US presidential election means nothing to Hezbollah.

“The strength of the resistance lies in its resilience despite the military differences. Our military will surpasses that of the Israeli enemy.”

Sheikh Qassem, on the other hand said it clear: that “the basis of any negotiation is to stop the aggression and to fully protect the Lebanese sovereignty.”

On the Israeli attack on Batroun, Sheikh Qassem described it as “a great offense to Lebanon and a violation of its sovereignty.”

In the same context, he called on the Lebanese Army to inform Hezbollah about its stance regarding the Israeli violation in Batroun, and regarding the role of the UNIFIL.
