GAZA, Nov. 06 (YPA) -Five Palestinian citizens were killed and others were injured last night as a result of an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential apartment in the Al-Hamid building, located on Yafa Street in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza Governorate.
According to Palestinian sources, the attack caused severe damage to the building and created a state of panic among local residents.
Israeli warplanes also carried out two consecutive airstrikes on homes east of Rafah, resulting in widespread destruction and additional casualties, both dead and wounded.
Earlier, Palestinian sources confirmed that five citizens killed and others wounded when occupation forces targeted a group of people in the Az-Zarqa area, north of the city, which was densely populated with both locals and displaced persons.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, since the early hours of Tuesday, 61 Palestinians have been killed, including 46 in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, due to the continuous air, land, and sea bombardment by Israeli forces since October 7, 2023.
The toll from the ongoing aggression has risen to 43,391 martyrs and 102,347 injured, while hundreds of bodies remain trapped under the rubble.
Rescue and civil defense teams are facing significant challenges in reaching the victims due to the intensity of the bombardment and the difficulty of movement in certain areas.
