UAE accuses Islah leaders of obstructing Hadramout refinery project
ABU DHABI, Nov. 02 (YPA) – The UAE accused leaders of the Islah Party of obstructing the oil refining and production refinery project in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.
“Why has the Hadramout oil refinery and production project been suspended despite its urgent economic necessity, while we see similar projects moving forward in the Emirate of Marib?” Khalid Al-Shamiri, head of the UAE-based Center for Political Studies, asked in a post on X.
He added that the Hadramout refinery project is in a state of stagnation despite its capabilities and the demands of its people.
Al-Shamiri stated that there are parties that do not want the people of Hadramout to enjoy their rights, referring to the Prime Minister of the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.
