BEIRUT, Nov. 01 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, led by Hezbollah, has continued to conduct operations against Israeli occupation positions and settlements, supporting the Palestinian resistance and responding to aggression against Lebanon.
Today, the Lebanese resistance confronted Israeli forces at the southern frontline, targeting their gatherings with rockets and artillery. In a series of statements, Hezbollah confirmed that its fighters targeted an Israeli military gathering in the Al-Maslakh neighborhood south of Al-Khiam with a large rocket barrage. They repeated this attack in the afternoon, again striking occupation forces in the same area.
According to the statements, Hezbollah bombarded the settlements of “Ma’alot Tarshiha” and “Karmiel” with rocket fire. These operations are aimed at supporting the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and showing solidarity with their courageous resistance, as well as defending Lebanon and its citizens.
Border Clashes
Field media sources in southern Lebanon reported ongoing close-range clashes between the resistance and Israeli forces in the southern and southeastern areas of Al-Khiam, noting the launch of two rocket barrages toward the Upper Galilee and the Finger of Galilee.
Situation in the North
The situation in the north is increasingly difficult. A farmer from “Margalit” expressed to Israeli media that “conditions along the entire front line are very tough, which is impacting our operations.” Reports indicated that following the sound of sirens in the Upper Galilee, approximately 20 rockets were detected launched from Lebanon, with some landing in the area.
Sirens sounded repeatedly in “Kiryat Shmona” and surrounding settlements in northeastern occupied Palestine. Alerts were also reported in several other areas, including “Neot Mordechai,” “Kfar Blum,” and “Doviv.” In the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms, sirens rang out in “Ghajar” due to concerns over potential drone infiltration by resistance forces, with additional alerts in “Beit Jan” in northwestern occupied Palestine.
Impact of October
October has been the most challenging month for the occupation. Throughout this period, drones and rockets launched by Hezbollah toward occupied cities and settlements, along with ground clashes, resulted in hundreds of Israeli soldiers killed and wounded, as well as significant damage reported by Israeli media.
The month concluded with what Zionist media described as a “harsh day,” referring to it as an “exceptionally complicated day in the north” with particularly lethal outcomes, acknowledging nine fatalities from Hezbollah fire in the Galilee and Haifa.
Ongoing resistance operations along the border have led to over 95 Israeli soldiers killed and 900 wounded, along with the destruction of 42 “Merkava” tanks, four military bulldozers, two “Hummer” vehicles, one armored vehicle, and a personnel carrier. The operations also resulted in the downing of three “Hermes 450” drones and two “Hermes 900” drones.
