HODEIDA, Oct. 27 (YAP) – The Sanaa-based armed forces carried out on Sunday a series of tactical military maneuvers on the west coast of Yemen.
According to Sanaa forces, the maneuver comes in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and on the occasion of the first anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation.
The maneuver simulated the armed forces’ response to large-scale offensive operations launched by hostile forces through four virtual offensive waves on Yemeni territory, with the full participation of hostile ships and naval warships in preparation for an enemy landing that infiltrates the coast.
The maneuver included the participation of the General Mobilization Forces in defending Yemeni lands from the supposed enemy forces and confronting its forces that are trying to control one of the villages through an airdrop of the supposed enemy forces.
These step aimed to raise the combat readiness of the armed forces, train them to confront various challenges and threats, in addition to enhance their ability to protect the homeland and its sanctities.
