28 people, killed, 139 injured in fresh Israeli offensives on Lebanon

BEIRUT, Oct. 23 (YPA) – About 28 people were killed and 139 others injured in Israeli attacks over the last 24 hours, raising the number of injured people to 12,001.

Lebanon’s Ministry of Health said in a statement on Wednesday that the death toll has risen to 2,574, since the start of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.

The aerial campaign is an escalation from a year of cross-border warfare between the Israeli occupation and Hezbollah since the start of its offensive on the Gaza Strip, in which Israel has killed over 42 people, most of them women and children, since Oct 7, 2023.
