OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Oct. 22 (YPA) – Hundreds of Israeli settlers desecrated, on Tuesday, the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic rituals and collective prayers on the sixth day of the Jewish “Sukkot” holiday, under heavy protection from the Israeli enemy forces.
Jerusalemite sources reported that 475 Jewish settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque since the morning hours, and performed public group prayers on the sixth day of the so-called “Feast of Tabernacles.”
The sources explained that the settlers performed Talmudic prayers in front of Bab al-Qattanin, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, carrying plant offerings, and they also carried out provocative tours in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, coinciding with the prevention of Muslims worshipers from entering to the mosque.
Israeli enemy forces spread out in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa and its gates to provide protection for the invading settlers, and they tightened their security measures around the mosque and on its doors, barriers were set up in the Old City of Jerusalem, and they also obstructed the arrival of worshipers.
