Civilians, including children, killed in Zionist raids on southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Oct. 12 (YPA) – Bodies of two Lebanese children were found on Saturday after they were killed along with their two sisters and a number of family members in a raid on a house in the town of Al-Bisariya last night.

According to a Lebanese security source, since this morning, intermittent Zionist air raids have been recorded on a number of southern towns after a stormy night of raids and artillery shelling.

The source said, “Violent raids targeted the towns of Khiam, Adaissa, and Kafour, while a raid on the town of Batuleh caused casualties, and raids were also recorded on the towns of Zefta, Al-Ghassaniyah, Al-Bazouriyah, and Ain Baal.”

The raids, from midnight last night until ten o’clock in the morning today, targeted nine towns, while two towns were bombed with artillery shells, namely the towns of Rmeish and Aita al-Shaab, the source added.

A person was also killed and another injured in a raid carried out by Israeli warplanes on the city of Nabatiyeh al-Tahta in southern Lebanon.

A Lebanese security source in Beirut stated that a strong raid targeted a building in the Ma’yan area on the Nahr Ibrahim-Qortuba main road in the city of Jbeil, east of Beirut.

Successive raids were also recorded on the towns of Burja, Zebqin, Yarin, Qana, Burj Al-Shamali, and Al-Hulusiyeh in southern Lebanon.
