Twelve Palestinian citizens killed in Zionist airstrikes on Shuja’iyya, al-Nusairat camps in Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 09 (YPA) – Twelve Palestinian citizens were killed, including nine family  members, due to Israeli airstrikes targeting two homes in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City and in the al-Nusairat camp in central Gaza.

Paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that nine martyrs from the Farhat family were retrieved after an Israeli airstrikes  targeted their apartment next to the market in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood. The bodies were transferred to the Baptist Hospital in the city.

Additionally, paramedics retrieved the bodies of three martyrs, including a child, along with several injured individuals, after the occupation forces bombed a home belonging to the Jamal family in the al-Nusairat camp. The victims were taken to al-Awda Hospital in the camp.

In the context of the ongoing escalation, explosions from Israeli artillery shelling were heard  in various neighborhoods of Gaza City, in conjunction with gunfire from Israeli drones in the al-Tuwam area northwest of the city.

Early in the dawn hours, the bodies of four martyrs, including a child, were retrieved from under the rubble of a house belonging to the Khalidi family in al-Bureij camp after it was targeted in an airstrike.
