Six Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on different areas in Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 06 (YPA) – At least six Palestinian citizens were killed and several others injured on Sunday due to Israeli airstrikes and artillery attacks on Jabalia, Rafah, and Al-Zawaida, coinciding with a military incursion into eastern Jabaliya that has trapped dozens of families.

According to Palestainain sources, the Israeli occupation forces advanced into eastern Jabalia, north of the enclave, surrounding families in their homes and in schools designated for sheltering displaced families,

Drones were also deployed, firing upon civilian homes in Jabalia, contributing to the rising toll of casualties. Among the deceased is journalist Hassan Hamad, who was killed when his home was struck during the bombardment.

Rescue teams reported retrieving one body and five injured individuals following an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Imam Al-Shafi’i School in the Samir area of Gaza City, with victims transported to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital (also known as the Baptist Hospital) in the city.

Additionally, two more citizens were killed, and others injured in an Israeli strike on Ibn Rushd School in the town of Al-Zawaida, central Gaza Strip.

In the southern region, rescue teams recovered a body near the Al-Abadlah Station in the Kherbat Al-Adas area north of Rafah. Another woman was reported killed and several others injured following an airstrike on the Qabalan family’s home in the town of Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis.
