Israeli elite forces massacred near Fatima Gate in south Lebanon

BEIRUT, Oct. 04 (YPA) – Detonating explosives on the enemy’s elite forces has resulted in the deaths and injuries of over 20 Zionist officers and soldiers, a field officer in the operations room of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon said.

The officer noted that “the explosives were recently planted based on surveillance and monitoring of the enemy’s movements, with some being placed just hours before the detonation.”

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon (Hezbollah) said that its forces had targeted Israeli soldiers in the al-Thaghra area in the outskirts of the town of Odaisseh on the border.

Earlier on Thursday, the resistance operations room reported that 17 Israeli officers and soldiers were killed during the confrontations.

Hezbollah announced the deaths of 17 officers and soldiers from the enemy’s army during clashes fought by its fighters on Thursday.

“The Islamic Resistance Operations Room, based on reliable field and security sources, confirms that the number of Zionist officers and soldiers killed in today’s heroic confrontations on Thursday, 03-10-2024, has reached 17,” the group said in a statement.

Hezbollah’s fighters successfully confronted an attempt by Israeli occupation forces to advance at Fatima Gate in South Lebanon, using artillery shells, according to the statement .

Since October 8, Hezbollah has declared its support for the Gaza and its resistance against the brutal Israeli war initiated by the Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,

The aggression on Gaza is approaching its first anniversary and has resulted in 41,689 martyrs and 96,625 injuries since October 7 of the previous year.
