Iran FM: Israeli crimes driving region to brink of serious crisis

WORLD, Oct. 03 (YPA) – The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the brutal attack by the Zionist entity on Gaza and the expansion of aggression into the West Bank, which has resulted in the deaths of 42,000 innocent people, stressing that these crimes have reached unprecedented levels and are pushing the region to the brink of a serious crisis.

In a statement on the eve of the 57th anniversary of the Human Rights Council meeting, Araghchi described the atrocities committed by the Israeli regime as a horrifying embodiment of a deliberate, systematic campaign of violations of human rights and international humanitarian law, including war crimes, crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, and genocide against the Palestinian people—a campaign that has persisted since the regime’s illegitimate inception.

The Foreign Minister emphasized in his statement that each moment of silence and indifference leads to the continued killing of innocent Palestinian and Lebanese civilians.

“The international community cannot turn a blind eye to these crimes. Immediate and decisive action is essential and constitutes a moral responsibility,” he added.
