Gold prices in Yemen record new high

SANAA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – The gold prices in Yemen recorded on Thursday a new high, with the price of the pound reaching 1,075,000 riyals in Aden city and 294,000 riyals in Sanaa.

According to economic sources, the value of the gold pound in Aden increased during the past hours by about 10,000 riyals compared to yesterday’s prices, Wednesday.

The sources stated that the average gold prices in Aden and Sanaa this evening, Thursday, were as follows:

Average gold prices in Aden:

Gold pound: Purchase = 1,059,000 riyals, Sale = 1,075,000 riyals.

Gram 21 karat: Purchase = 132,000 riyals, Sale = 140,000 riyals.

Average gold prices in Sanaa:

Gold pound: Purchase = 290,000 riyals, Sale = 294,000 riyals.

Gram 21 karat: Purchase = 36,000 riyals, Sale = 38,000 riyals.
