One killed, others injured in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug. 25 (YPA) – One  person was killed  in an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in the town of Khaim in southern Lebanon, the country ministry of health reported.

The Lebanese National News Agency stated that two others were injured this morning, one of whom is in critical condition: a Lebanese and a Syrian. The strikes were the most intense seen in various parts of the country.

The agency noted that the Israeli bombardment caused severe damage to infrastructure.

Since early this Sunday morning, Israeli forces have carried out several airstrikes targeting the town of Zibqin, the vicinity of the town of Deir Siriane, and other areas in southern Lebanon.
