Zionist soldiers blow up main drinking water tank in Rafah

GAZA, July 29 (YPA) – The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reported on Monday that the Israeli army has opened a military investigation into suspicions that Israeli soldiers violated international law by blowing up the main drinking water tank in Rafah in the Gaza Strip.

The newspaper stated that soldiers from the 401st Brigade of the Israeli occupation army blew up the water tank with explosive devices with the approval of their direct commanders, but without obtaining the approval of the commanders of the army’s southern region.

The water tank is located in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood near humanitarian areas that the occupation army has designated as safe. However, one of the soldiers filmed the process of blowing up the water tank and said it was a tribute to Saturday.
