Blinken: Russia has found ways to continue developing its military industry despite sanctions

WORLD, July 20 (YPA) – US Secretary of State Antony Blinken admitted that Russia has found ways to keep its military-industrial complex operational despite the restrictions imposed by Western countries.

Speaking at the annual security forum of the Aspen Institute, Blinken discussed the sanctions imposed on Russia, stating: “The truth is that the Russians have found alternative solutions, particularly in their relations with North Korea and Iran, and unfortunately with China.”

He added: “Russia has found ways to keep its military industrial base functioning,” which allows for the continuation of the special military operation.

The Russian special military operation has entered its third year, and according to prominent military analysts, it has provided significant momentum for the development of the Russian defense industry.
