Top Zionist, Arab generals held secret security meeting in Manama

MANAMA, June 13 (YPA) – Zionist Chief of Staff, General Herzi Halevi,  met with his counterparts from several Arab countries to discuss regional security cooperation in Manama, Bahrain , the American news website Axios reported on Wednesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The meeting in Manama was reportedly attended by “senior military officials from Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt”, in addition to Halevi and Kurilla, according to Axios.

Regarding the meeting, Al Jazeera journalist Jamal Al-Rayyan said in a post on his X account, “Israel and America consider Hamas’ victory to be a game-changer for the region, which is unacceptable. Hence, they are seeking a political victory for Israel to pave the way for sidelining Hamas from any role in the post-war period.”

He added, “The current movements are a means of buying time to form an Arab international alliance against Hamas, ultimately leading to a political victory for Israel.”

He concluded his tweet by asking, “Will they succeed?”
