UKMTO receives report of incident 98 nautical miles south of Yemen’s Hodeida

WORLD, May 23 (YPA) – The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency said on Thursday it had received a report of an incident 98 nautical miles south of Yemen’s port city of Hodeida.

Authorities are investigating, UKMTO said in a statement in a post on its X account.

It added, ” vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO.”
