Al-Houthi offers condolences over death of Iran’s President

SANAA, May 20 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, offered his condolences of the Iranian people over the death of President Ebrahim Raisi, and a number of Iranian officials in in the helicopter crash that occurred on Sunday.

“Our deepest condolences to the Iranian people, and to the Iranian leadership, and to the president’s family and the accompanying delegation on the martyrdom of President Raisi and the accompanying delegation, and we ask Allah to grant their families patience and comfort,” Mohammed al-Houthi wrote in a post on his X account.

He added, ” We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. The Iranian people will remain loyal to leaders loyal to them, God willing.”
