Person sentenced to death in Sanaa for aiding enemy, participating in Al-Qaeda gang

SANAA, May 15 (YPA) – The Specialized Criminal Court of First Instance in Sanaa ruled on Wednesday the death penalty for Abdullah Ali Salem Kalal, who was convicted of the crime of aiding the enemy and participating in a gang of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization.

The court also convicted Samir Ali Abdullah Al-Barakani of the crime of participating in an Al-Qaeda gang and punished him with two and a half years in prison, starting from the date of his arrest.
