Palestinian civilians killed in Zionist airstrikes on Gaza

GAZA, May A number of Palestinian civilians were killed and wounded on Wednesday morning in a series of airstrikes launched by Israeli occupation warplanes on several areas in the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to an ongoing Zionist aggression for the 222nd day in a row now.

Palestinian sources reported that 10 displaced citizens were killed in an Israeli shelling on a clinic belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City.

Moreover, four people were killed and others were injured when an Israeli warplane bombed a house owned by Abu Al-Hasani family in the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip. They were transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalia camp.

A child was killed as a result of an Israeli missile strike that targeted a house belonging to Brash family in the vicinity of the club in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. She was transferred to Al Awda Hospital in the neighboring Nuseirat camp.

The neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun, Al-Sabra and Al-Rimal in Gaza City saw intense air and artillery bombardment by the Israeli occupation, which injured a number of people.

According to Palestinian sources the occupation forces renewed violent artillery shelling on Al-Musalba area and the vicinity of Street 8 in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, resulted in seven injuries.

Israeli occupation warplanes also targeted violent raids on Old Gaza Street in the town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.

The neighborhoods of Al-Salam, Al-Jeneina, and Al-Barazil, east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, saw artillery shelling that caused widespread destruction to citizens’ homes and property.
