Al-Mashat orders customs, tax facilitations for private sector

SANAA, May 13 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mahdi al-Mashat, ordered to give more Tax and customs facilitations  to private sector to enhance product quality and boost local industries.

 

This came during his meeting today with heads of economic units and the president of the Chamber of Commerce in the capital Sana’a.

President al-Mashat also instructed the Ministry of Electricity to coordinate with the private sector to establish a joint-stock company in the electricity sector.

He emphasized the need for relevant authorities to enhance coordination between the private and public sectors, provide facilitations for the private sector, ease the entry of goods, supply foodstuffs to markets, and encourage the localization of industries.

President al-Mashat praised the role of private sector and its national responsibility during   aggression and the Saudi-American blockade, in addition to meeting the citizens’ needs.
