GAZA, May 12 (YPA) – The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Sunday that it targeted two Zionist tanks with two “Al-Yassin 105” shells, behind the Riad al-Salehin Mosque, east of the Jabalia camp.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also announced that their fighters had destroyed the Zionist enemy forces’ concentrations east of the Jabalia camp with mortar shells and that they had also hit the enemy forces penetrating near the Al-Mabhouh site with mortar shells.
Al-Qassam Mujahideen also targeted a Zionist “Merkavah” tank with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell east of Jabalia Camp, causing it to catch fire and killing and wounding those inside it. The Mujahideen also succeeded in dropping an anti-armor shell via a drone on a “Merkvah” tank east of Jabalia camp.
Al-Qassam said earlier on Sunday morning that its mujahideen were engaged in fierce clashes with enemy forces in the Al-Taqaddum axis, east of the Jabalia camp.
Sources close to the Al-Qassam Brigades reported that the mujahideen monitored the landing of evacuation helicopters in large numbers in the areas east of the Jabalia camp.
