SOCOTRA, May 12 (YPA) – Centers for monitoring earthquakes and volcanoes recorded on Sunday afternoon a magnitude of 4.5 Richter and a shallow depth in the Gulf of Aden off the coast of the Yemeni island of Socotra.
It was expected that after the sea tremor that struck the coast of Socotra, tremors would be repeated around the epicenter of the sea tremor itself, or through the transmission of seismic energy towards the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden, reaching the Red Sea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, up to Somalia and Eritrea.
