Palestinian young man killed by Israeli occupation forces in Nablus
OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 12 (YPA) – A Palestinian young man was shot dead and another one injured by Israeli occupation forces during their raid on Balata refugee camp, located east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian media reported.
The Ministry of Health reported that the young men identified as Samer Nasser Rumana, 27, was shot dead by the Israeli forces during a raid into the camp this morning, and was subsequently transported to Rafidia Governmental Hospital.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society further stated that a 16-year-old teenager was injured shot in the back with live ammunition by Israeli occupation soldiers during the raid in Balata, and was subsequently rushed to hospital for medical treatment.
Earlier at dawn, Israeli occupation forces raided the eastern area of the camp, where confrontations erupted between the Israeli forces and locals. The occupation forces used live ammunition against the residents, resulting in casualties.
