Leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi affirms invasion of Rafah crossing is threat to Egypt, its army

SANAA, May 09 (YPA) – Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, confirmed that the Israeli occupation’s invasion of the Rafah crossing does not only target the Palestinian people, but rather is a show against the people and the Egyptian army.

This came during a weekly speech that he made on Thursday to talk about the latest developments in Yemen and the occupied Palestine, especially the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi considered the invasion of the Rafah crossing to be a threat and a challenge to Egypt, its security, and a violation of agreements.

“Egypt is supposed to be at the forefront of the Arab movement to make a firm stance to pressure the enemy seeking to evacuate the Rafah crossing,” the leader al-Houthi. “The Egyptian memorandum of protest regarding the Rafah crossing is not sufficient and the Israeli enemy will not pay any attention.”

He also considered the invasion of the Rafah crossing is a showy manner to provoke Arabs and Muslims, calling on Arabs and Muslims to take additional practical steps against the enemy in return for targeting the people and displaced people in Rafah.

Leader Al-Houthi went on to say: “Arabs and Muslims should not be spectators, and they must take practical steps to support the Palestinian people in the face of the aggression against Rafah, in addition, the Arab countries have many political, diplomatic and economic options.”

He added: “If the Arab regimes do not dare to adopt any position, then let their people to move in a big way,” stressing that the greater the tragedy for the Palestinian people, the bigger the burden of the regimes and peoples’ inaction and negligence.”

The leader of the Yemeni revolution revealed that the American position is trying to deceive public opinion and present a false image regarding what the Israeli enemy is doing in Rafah.

“The Israelis will not carry out their aggression against Rafah if the Americans take a serious decision to prevent it,” he added, pointing out that America is pretending to put pressure on the Israeli enemy regarding Rafah, but has provided a huge stock of bombs and large shipments weapons earlier to the Israeli enemy sufficient to annihilate civilians in Rafah.”
