Galant: Ground attack on Rafah will take place soon

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 05 (YPA) – The Minister of War in the Israeli occupation government, Yoav Galant, said on Sunday, that the ground attack on Rafah will take place “as soon as possible”, after Hamas attack that led to the death of two soldiers and the injury of others at the Kerem Shalom crossing.

Galant said while inspecting the forces in the “Netzarim” axis, which divides the Gaza Strip into two halves: “It appears that the Hamas movement does not intend to reach an agreement, and accordingly, a military operation in Rafah and in the entire Strip will take place as soon as possible”.

Previously, two occupation soldiers were killed and others were injured on Sunday, after between 10 and 30 missiles were fired at the Kerem Shalom crossing area.
