Meteorology calls citizens to be away from flow of torrent

SANAA, April 25 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has called citizens to be away from the flow of torrents in the places, which to be expected to receive heavy rain in the coming hours.

The center said in its weather forecast on Thursday that scattered rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, may fall on parts of the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Rayma and Ibb.

Light to moderate rain is likely in parts of Dhalea, Bayda, Lahj, Marib, Jawf and Hadramout province, it added.

The center also warned of lightning strikes and rock, mud slides during rains, as well as to low horizontal visibility due to low clouds in the mountainous roads.
