Fresh strikes by US, UK fighter jets hit Hodeida

HODEIDA, Feb. 17 (YPA) – The US and UK aggression warplanes renewed on Saturday its raids on Hodeida province, west of Yemen.

A security source in the province confirmed that the figter jets launched an air strike on the Ras Issa area of Salif district.

On Friday, American and British aircraft launched two strikes on the same province, the first strike targeted Taif area and the other hit Al-Kuwaizi area of Durayhimi district.

The sources noted that the American-British warplanes escalated its aggression against Hodeida during the past week with about 50 air strikes.
