Gaza Health Ministry: Israeli enemy forces interrogate people in Nasser Hospital in inhumane conditions
GAZA, Feb. 17 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip stated that the Israeli enemy forces continue to detain a large number of medical staff, patients, and displaced persons in the maternity building at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, subjecting them to interrogation under harsh and inhumane conditions.
In a statement, the ministry added that the enemy forces are keeping 5 medical staff members with 120 patients in the old Nasser building, leaving them without electricity, water, food, or oxygen.
It noted that electricity is still cut off from Nasser Medical Complex due to generator failure, posing a threat to the lives of cases in need of oxygen.
The ministry mentioned that the Israeli enemy prohibits the evacuation of critical cases from Nasser Medical Complex to other hospitals in order to save their lives.
