FM condemns American aggression against Iraq
SANAA, Feb. 08 (YPA) – Sanaa-based Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned on Thursday the American aggression that targeted the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The ministry said in a statement that the aggression, which resulted in the killing of the leader of the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades, Abu Baqir al-Saadi, is a blatant violation of Iraq’s sovereignty, security and stability.
The statement stressed that these American criminal actions would threaten to expand the scope of the war in the region and aim to protect the Zionist entity to continue its crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
It expressed the solidarity of the Republic of Yemen with the brotherly Republic of Iraq and its support to all the measures it takes to protect its sovereignty and maintain its security and stability.
