Commander of US Fifth Fleet speaks of Yemeni missiles, drones

WORLD, Jan. 30 (YPA) – The commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command’s 5th Fleet discussed the missiles and drones launched by the Yemeni armed forces, noting that his forces have only a few seconds to decide to intercept them.

Charles Bradford “Brad” Cooper II, stated in a television interview with the US channel “CBS” from Bahrain that “Houthi” missiles and drones can hit their target within 75 seconds of being launched.

He mentioned that no one had previously targeted US Navy ships with ballistic missiles.

The US Fifth Fleet is part of the US Navy and is based in the regional waters off Bahrain. Since January 12, American and British warplanes have been carrying out aggression against Yemen.
