Report: 14 civilians killed in 19 Saudi-led airstrikes, ground attacks over 24 hours
SANAA, July 11 (YPA) – At least 14 civilians were killed and 13 injured, including women and children, when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched over 19 airstrikes and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen’s provinces during the past 24 hours, according to medics and officials reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.
- In Saada province:
Two civilians were killed, a woman and child were injured in an airstrike on a civilian’s home in Qaher area of Baqem district.
Three civilians were killed and another was injured in an airstrike on Aqeq area of Kutaf district.
Four airstrikes were waged on Atfain area of Kutaf district.
An airstrike on Alaf area of Sehar district.
Two airstrikes on Boqea area.
Meanwhile, a woman was killed, her husband and daughter were injured in artillery and missile shells which targeted residential areas of Razih border district.
A civilian was killed by the fires of Saudi border guards in Shada border district.
Civilians’ properties were damaged by artillery and missle shelling in Razih border district.
- In Hodeidah province:
Five civilians were killed and eight injured when airstrikes hit two cars in Zabid district.
- In Bayda province:
A civilian and his wife were killed by the fires of Saudi-backed militiamen in Qania area.
- In Taiz province:
Seven airstrikes hit several areas of Khadir district.
- In Lahj province:
A Saudi-led coalition airstrike was waged on A’airam area of Qubaita district.
