Pro-UAE factions kidnap imam of mosque in Aden for supporting Palestine

ADEN, Jan. 14 (YPA) – Factions loyal to the UAE kidnapped a mosque preacher in the city of Aden, southern Yemen, on the grounds that he talked about the crimes committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The “Abna’a Aden” news website reported that members of the Southern Transitional (STC) factions funded by the UAE took, yesterday, Saturday, the imam and preacher of the Al-Kholafa Mosque in the city of Inma, Ayman Abu Al-Hassan Al-Adani, in Al-Buraiqa District, to an unknown destination on charges of supporting the Palestinian cause.

The website explained that the imam of the mosque discussed in his Friday sermon the mass massacres committed against the people of Gaza by the Zionist enemy since October 7, indicating that the STC elements accused the imam Al-Adani of belonging to the “Muslim Brotherhood” organization in Aden.

It is noteworthy that the UAE-backed STC is seeking, during the current stage, to prove its seriousness in normalizing with the Zionist entity in exchange for obtaining an independent entity by returning Yemen to before the achievement of Yemeni unity in May 1990.
