Lebanon supports South Africa’s lawsuit against Zionist enemy before ICJ

BEIRUT, Jan. 11 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday affirmed its support for South Africa’s lawsuit against the Zionist enemy before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague on charges of committing genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued Thursday, the Lebanese Foreign Ministry expressed its aspiration for a just and prompt ruling that reflects respect for values and human rights, especially international humanitarian law.

The Lebanese Foreign Ministry thanked South Africa for taking this principled position and all its endeavours.
