GAZA, Jan. 06 (YPA) – The Palestinian Minister of Culture, Atef Abu Saif, said that the Israeli aggression war has not merely halted at ravaging lives and structures; rather, it has intensified its assault, targeting every historical and cultural landmark throughout the continued crime over the past three months.
In a panel discussion organized by the Ministry of Culture Saturday at the Royal Cultural Center in Amman, Jordan, the Palestinian Minister expressed the profound losses that targeted cultural institutions and figures in the Strip.
He revealed that the toll, up to this moment, amounted to 45 artists, writers, poets, musicians, and novelists. Additionally, there were significant losses, including 320 embroidered garments and the destruction of historical mosques and churches.
Abu Saif has left Gaza after enduring 85 days under bombardment, shed light on the devastating impact on cultural heritage in the region.
